A full body, non-contrast, CT performed 01/20/26.
There is a distal transverse left coracoid fracture with caudomedial displacement into the cranial mediastinum.
There is ill-defined
periosteal reaction along the coracoid. There is intramedullary hemorrhage within the left distal coracoid.
Adjacent to the fracture site
and extending into the cranial mediastinum, there is a focal to regionally extensive accumulation of
homogenous fluid to soft tissue
attenuating material. Within this, there are multifocal, small, variably sized gas bubbles. The margins are ill
defined, and the material
conforms to surrounding mediastinal structures. The distal fracture tip does not appear to be penetrating the
heart but is closely
associated with major vessels. There is a non-displaced fracture of the proximal left clavicle. There is a small
volume of intramedullary
hemorrhage within the left scapula. There are multiple ribs along the left thorax that contain multifocal
intramedullary hemorrhage. The
remaining appendicular and axial skeleton are intact, with no additional fractures identified. The lungs are
symmetrically aerated with
multifocal bilateral ground glass opacity, worse along the dorsal aspect. The air sacs are normally gas-filled,
and no free coelomic gas is
identified. The heart and major intrathoracic vascular structures are unremarkable within the limits of a noncontrast study. Abdominal
organs are appropriately positioned and demonstrate normal size, shape, and attenuation for species. The
skull, vertebral column, and
visualized portions of the brain and spinal canal are unremarkable.
CONCLUSION:
1. Chronic left coracoid fracture with caudal displacement into the cranial mediastinum, accompanied by
regional hemorrhage/blood clot
formation. Given the lack of contrast, it is difficult to determine if the regional vasculature is effected.
2. Non-displaced fracture of the left clavicle.
3. Multifocal bilateral pulmonary contusions.
4. Mild multifocal intramedullary hemorrhage of numerous left-sided bony structures as described above.

Patient induced 5% reduced and maintained 2%. Whole body CT performed. Revealed proximal left clavicular fracture not evident on radiographs. Luxated left coracoid is closely associated with great vessel (aorta vs pulmonary vessels--non contrast CT). Large clot in air sac surrounding luxated coracoid. There are extensive pulmonary contusions and hemorrhage in caudo ventral lung field. Radiology report pending.

Performed physical therapy under anesthesia this morning:
Eagle induced under 5% isoflurane and maintained under 2% isoflurane.
Right carpal bumper removed, tissues underlying bumper normal. Left body wrap removed and assessed ROM--good no significant reduction in shoulder motility. Performed repetitive ROM exercises (extension of wing and hold, also dorsal/ventral "flap" of wing with extension).
Noted that part of patagial tendon in left wing is ruptured/contracted but this is only partial and likely there is sufficient tendon present/this may represent a chronic injury.
Body wrap incorporating left wing replaced. Right wing carpal bumper replaced.
